About Me

Belle Thanh Le (she/her) was born in Saigon, Vietnam and immigrated to San Jose, California at two and a half years old. Raised in the Bay Area, her love for storytelling and the arts bloomed from a childhood full of weekly family karaoke, Teletubbies crafts, and Paris by Night (ask any Vietnamese person.)

Belle is in love with people, the sun and her three small dogs. From a young age, she had been fascinated by the human mind and how our unique experiences make us so special. She thought she was on the path to become a psychologist, however, she was so excited when she discovered that acting explores the human psyche and behavior from a creative and expressive perspective — which makes way more sense to her brain. She is passionate about telling Asian stories and creating art that drives conversation and change, specifically about social rights and mental health advocacy.

Since moving to New York, she’s very grateful to have been involved in new works readings and workshops with Fault Line Theatre, The Sống Collective, 2G, and Atlantic Theater Company.
